Kherson Community Foundation “Zakhyst” Helped Kherson Families to Survive the Occupation 

From the first days of the full-scale war, Kherson Community Foundation “Zakhyst”  launched the humanitarian program “Let’s save together! Kherson” that united the efforts of philanthropists, donor organizations and businesses. As a part of the program, CSO provided aid with medicines and medical supplies worth UAH 1,3 million for the Kherson hospitals. 
However, Russia`s later blockage of the delivery of humanitarian goods made such support impossible. Thus, the CSO focused on targeted financial aid to large families and families raising children with disabilities. 
Due to CSO`s efforts, more than 1,400 families from the occupied or newly liberated territories of the Kherson region and families of displaced people have already received financial aid in the total amount of almost 4 million hryvnias. 

Фонд «Захист» підтримував сім’ї Херсонщини, що потрапили під окупацію 

З перших днів війни Фонд громади міста Херсон «Захист» започаткував гуманітарну програму «Рятуємо разом! Херсон». ГО об’єднала зусилля благодійників, донорських організацій та бізнесу, та змогла надати допомогу ліками і медикаментами на суму понад 1,3 млн гривень для херсонських лікарень. 

Коли з посиленням окупації продовжувати таку підтримку стало неможливо, Фонд зосередився на адресній фінансовій допомозі багатодітним сім’ям і родинам, де виховуються діти з інвалідністю. 

Фінансову допомогу від Фонду отримали понад 1400 родин з окупованих або новозвільнених територій Херсонської області та сім’ї переселенців. Загальна сума наданої підтримки склала майже 4 млн гривень.
