Last weekend, Kherson hosted its first practical training session on applying tourniquets, organized by the “Kherson Safety Ambassadors” project.
To practice their skills, participants used tourniquets provided by the Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst” with the support of Nonviolent Peaceforce and the National Network of Local Philanthropy Development.
This session gave those who had already completed the basic first aid course an opportunity to reinforce their knowledge and confidently practice techniques for managing critical bleeding.
Good news for everyone eager to improve their skills: these training sessions will now be held every Sunday.
