On the eve of Kherson Day, the Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst” signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Kherson City Military Administration. The document was signed by Yaroslav Shanko, Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, and Larysa Polska, Chairwoman of the Board of the “Zakhyst” Foundation.
The agreement provides for the coordination of efforts and the implementation of joint projects aimed at supporting the residents of our community. This is an opportunity to combine resources, experience, and aspirations for one common goal: to make life for people in frontline Kherson more comfortable and safe.
For 22 years, the “Zakhyst” Foundation has been implementing humanitarian, social, and charitable initiatives. We support people who remain in frontline Kherson, assist educational and medical institutions, help rescue workers, and contribute to the restoration of destroyed infrastructure.
We sincerely thank the Kherson City Military Administration and Mr. Yaroslav Shanko personally for their willingness to work together for Kherson. In wartime, it is especially important to coordinate humanitarian response between civil society organizations, volunteer initiatives, and the authorities. This makes assistance more effective and more systematic.
