The street power transformer we purchased for Kherson has finally arrived and been installed!
This crucial element of the city’s energy infrastructure was produced by a Ukrainian manufacturer, who kindly provided us with a significant discount. The total cost of the transformer — 350,000 UAH — was covered thanks to a grant from ISAR Ednannia’s “People for People” program, co-funded by a group of the Ukrainian diaspora organized by Liska Grofts.
💛 We are sincerely grateful to everyone who made this possible!
How It Happened
The 2.5-ton transformer was manufactured in the Khmelnytskyi region. The biggest challenge was its delivery to Kherson — but this transport issue was successfully resolved by the Kherson City Military Administration.
We are grateful for this real partnership — the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst” and the Administration truly works in practice, not just on paper.
A Vital Step for the City’s Recovery
The transformer has been officially transferred and registered with Khersonmisksvitlo Municipal Enterprise.
It will ensure more stable power supply and improve the operation of the city’s street lighting system — enhancing safety and comfort in a city that continues to rebuild every day.
