In December 2025, the Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst” allocated UAH 371,433 to support the city of Kherson and its residents. The assistance covered several key areas from safety and healthcare to humanitarian aid and support for children.
Key Areas of Support
🔹 Support for Rescuers
Three “Chuyka” systems worth UAH 74,100 were transferred to Kherson units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES). These systems enhance the safety and operational effectiveness of rescuers.
🔹 Medical Assistance
Plumbing supplies, construction materials, and electrical equipment were purchased for regional children’s hospitals for a total amount of UAH 221,363, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of medical facilities.
🔹 Support for Families with Infants
Assistance centers for Kherson residents in Mykolaiv, Kropyvnytskyi, and Khmelnytskyi received 85 new German winter clothing sets for infants up to 3 months old, totaling UAH 51,000.
🔹 Humanitarian Aid
Humanitarian centers in Kherson and assistance centers for Kherson residents in Lviv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kropyvnytskyi, and Khmelnytskyi received 4,265 kg of “Boba” beverages (bubble tea) worth UAH 24,970.
🔹 New Year’s Gifts for Children
420 kg of New Year’s gift packages were provided to the Service for Children’s Affairs of the Kherson City Council. This assistance was received as a charitable donation at zero cost to the Foundation.
