The Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst” continues to support Kherson residents, healthcare facilities, civil society organisations, and institutions serving the community.
In July 2026, the total value of assistance provided amounted to UAH 482,701.
A substantial share of this support directly addressed needs in Kherson. In particular, the Foundation allocated UAH 279,012 to one of the city’s hospitals to establish a Mental Health Centre.
Assistance was also provided to organisations and institutions working daily under the difficult conditions of a frontline city:
- The Dniprovskyi District Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society received 53 household fire extinguishers worth UAH 13,630;
- The NGO “Centre for Change and Progress” received 500 household fire extinguishers worth UAH 75,610;
- Chornobaivka Village Council received 4 pallets of clothing and footwear worth UAH 78,043 for settlements without shops selling these goods;
- Two hospitals in Kherson received 11 rollator walkers for patients with limited mobility worth UAH 4,260.
Support also reaches Kherson residents who were forced to leave their hometown because of the war. Through the “Vilni Razom” (“Free Together”) support centres for Kherson residents, the Foundation provided rollator walkers for people with limited mobility:
- 43 rollator walkers to Kropyvnytskyi, worth UAH 16,654;
- 19 rollator walkers to Zhytomyr, worth UAH 7,746;
- 19 rollator walkers to Kyiv, worth UAH 7,746.
These deliveries help meet the specific needs of people and institutions, from safety and mobility to medical and psychological support.
