We won’t say that the year was difficult for our organization — it was difficult for the entire country, and unimaginably devastating for the Kherson community.
Faced with the threat posed by the occupiers, members of the Foundation’s leadership and staff were forced to evacuate from occupied Kherson to various cities across Ukraine and abroad. Yet this did not stop our work. On the contrary — we became stronger, more united, and more capable of delivering humanitarian aid to Kherson residents, emergency rescue teams, and municipal enterprises involved in restoring destroyed infrastructure.
The greatest value of our Foundation is the trust of the people, built through our transparency, accountability, and openness. It is this trust that led not only individuals, but also Ukrainian businesses, to support us in addressing the challenges faced by Kherson and its residents. Among them were: Ukrgasbank JSC, DIGIS (Odesa), SKVOD Ukraine LLC, the Ukrainian Retail Association, Kraytex-Service LLC, AFINA-Group LLC, D-Tehnika LLC, MNS Investment LLC, Garantbud LLC, and the Virgin Izakaya Bar restaurant (Kyiv) — along with many others.
Civil Society Organizations — such as NGO “Center “Sofia”, NGO “Hromada UA”, NGO “Kherson League of Social Workers”, CO “Ob’yednannya”, Union of Journalists “Alternatyva”, NGO “Dobro Shtab Kherson”, Kherson Volunteers’ Club, NGO “Women’s Perspectives”, CO “Peace for the Future”, CO “Vse mozhlyvo”, the Kyiv Palace for Children and Youth, NGO “Ukrainian Peacebuilding School Association”, International Charitable Foundation “Hands of Friends”, ISAR Ednannia, the National Network for Local Philanthropy, NGO “Kind Challenge”, and many others — alongside the Kherson Regional Military Administration, with which we signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. It is impossible to name them all, but we are deeply grateful to every one of them for their unwavering support for Kherson.
